Move
Following a decision by the landlord at 758 Marrett Road (Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School) to repurpose the existing building, MIT Lincoln Laboratory identified a nearby long term location to construct a new child care center for TCC Linc.
The program relocated to the new facility in the summer of 2016.

Child Care Center Features
The center is located on the ground floor of a two-story brick building, with Lincoln Laboratory offices located on the second floor.
Interior space (12,500 square feet)
- 3 preschool classrooms (normal capacity of 18 children each with ability to increase to 20 for flexibility for transitions or other situations), 4 toddler classrooms (9 children each), 3 infant classrooms (7 children each)
- 1 preschool movement/gross motor space, 1 toddler movement/gross motor space, 1 infant movement/sensory room
- Preschool “Investigations” space (art and STEM activity area)
- Children’s library
- 2 administrative offices, staff lounge, conference/meeting room

Status Update
- Construction began in summer 2015
- Playground completed in December 2015
- Interior space completed on schedule in spring 2016
