Kendall Childcare Center
Welcome to TCC Kendall —The Kendall Childcare Center
The Kendall Childcare Center has served two generations of MIT families. Its care and education programs emphasize language development, multicultural experiences, and collaborative relationships between teachers and families. In the heart of MIT’s East Campus, the center includes an infant room located in Building 68, toddler and preschool classrooms located in Building E37, and a well-equipped playground and outdoor classroom.
Meet the director—Kacie Young
“Through my experiences working in early childhood education, I believe that children find the true meaning of joy through their ability to play and explore the world around them. As the Center Director at TCC Kendall, I am overjoyed to be both an observer and a participant in the children’s day to day exploration. I am a strong believer in building partnership with children and their families to create a warm and welcoming environment for parent involvement. I am passionate about creating and sustaining nurturing environments where children feel face and empowered to develop a sense of self. I look forward to partnering with the families at TCC Kendall to provide an enriched experience for the children throughout the school year.”
