When are Technology Childcare Centers (TCC) open and operating throughout the year?

• The TCC calendar—Each of the four Technology Childcare Centers follows the MIT holiday calendar, so check that link to learn when your center will be closed for holidays.
• Weather closings—MIT rarely shuts down for snow or other weather events, but it’s a good idea to call 617-253-SNOW (617-253-7669) to make sure the center is opening if their is inclement weather. The MIT home page also will include a prominent notice of any Institute closures. For confirmation of Lincoln Laboratory closings call Lincoln Laboratory (after 5:30 AM) at 781-981-8100.
• Teacher Professional Development Days—TCC centers may close for two days during the year (one day in July or August and one day in January) for professional development, but the dates will be announced well in advance.
